I’m not sure about you lot, but I’m not the trickiest cake maker, I can make a cake that tastes delicious but when it comes to the fancy icing you lost me at fondue…. This is the perfect solution if you can make a mean tasting cake but get lost behind the piping bag…. Just make your two round cakes, cut off the rounded tops, thinly ice or spread jam in between the cakes and spread butter icing all around with a spatula then add your cute as a button printed scroll flags stuck to large skewers, voila fancy little cake, pretty sure you can even use store bought icing for this bad boy….
